Percy's Story...
Hi! My name is Percy. I love to give hugs and cuddle with people I know. When I am comfortable I enjoy showering my human friends with kisses while I lay my chest in their laps looking up at them with adoration.

I have a playful and outgoing demeanor. I enjoy running outside and playing with different toys though my favorite is a large stuffed squirrel that has a squeaker inside.

I get along well with people, but I can be a bit more selective with new dogs. I would prefer a female companion who can match my energy level and play with me for short bursts outside before relaxing.

I would rather not have a home with multiple pets where it can sometimes be hard to get one on one time with the people I love. I need a loving, open home that enjoys playing outside for a while during the day before going inside where we can cuddle on the couch for a relaxing evening. If you are interested in adding me to your family, please stop by and visit me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Percy, a St. Louis American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
