Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Elliot—aka—‘El.’ He is a yellow lab mix puppy, about 6 months old and about 25-30 lbs. Just like most furbabies of this breed, he will get to be about 45 lbs once fully grown.
Elliot was rescued from a very unfit owner, so we all expected him to be very untrusting and scared. Boy, were we wrong!!!! El, surprisingly enough, is still really trusting! By not losing trust in humans after his experiences, El’s forgiving soul shines! It’s as if he always knew in his heart that he would be rescued, so he never let go of hope, and stayed optimistic.
After Elliot was rescued, we all fell in love with his loving and relaxed personality. We couldn’t wait to get him started on his new journey to living in a safe, loved, and happy home. Words cannot justify how precious this sweet boy is! Additionally, he's great with kids, other dogs, and even cats! Looking to adopt, or even foster? Please fill out an application, so you can meet this handsome boy for yourself! We are looking to find him a loving mommy or daddy, or even a nice foster home!
*****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED!*****
Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information.
All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.
Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.
Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
