My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Olivia—aka—‘Liv.’ She is an adorable and bashful black lab puppy mix. Liv is about 8 months old and weighs about 25-30 lbs. Once she is fully grown, she will weigh closer to 45 lbs, like most labs. She loves being around people, but we think she experienced a tough life as a stray because she can be shy and fearful of other dogs with too much energy, so a kind and laid-back parent would be her dream!

Liv was found by a young college student as a stray. The kind student took her in, fed her, and gave her as much love as she could. Unfortunately, she could not keep her, so we are now looking for a nice home or foster home for this adorable little girl! Liv would prefer a home where she was the only dog, at least for now, because she shuts down and gets scared when she is chased or played with before she is ready. If you are interested in adopting her and giving her the home she deserves, please fill out an application. Also—being a foster parent goes a long way as well! So, if have just developed a soft spot for Liv, but not looking at providing a furrrever home, then fill out an application and help her find one by becoming her foster parent.

*****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED!*****

Please visit www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org for foster and adoption applications or for additional information.

All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.

Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
