Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ariel. Ariel is a very petite female 17 months old female Border
Collie. She weighs about 26 lbs and is black and white with a smooth coat
and pricked ears. Ariel was an owner surrender to the shelter. Upon first
meeting her, she was very shy and frightened. All it too was a few kind
words and some old fashioned TLC and she immediately started coming out of
her shell. Ariel can be quite affectionate and adores tummy rubs. She
loves to play with her foster siblings. She walks decently on a leash, but
she needs some obedience training. She might be too shy or skittish to be
in a home with small children. She is a bit of a spitfire, and quite
energetic. She will need a very active home and we think she would be well
suited for dog sports. She's fast and agile, and smart (of course) too.
This little girl is looking for a job to keep her mentally challenged.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption
application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any
meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on
