October 2016:

Hello! Wilbur here! Aren't I a handsome fella?! I am about 6.5 months old and weigh 50-60 pounds. My rescuer thinks I am an American Bulldog mix. I'm a big boy with lots of love to give! I'm absolutely fantastic with kids of all ages and good with dogs too! I do like to chase kitties though so no cats in my forever home would be best. My foster mom says I'm a super smart pup! I know how to sit, stay, fetch a ball, and I love the word treat! She also says I'm kennel trained! Would you like to give me that furever home?? I will love you forever! ❤️

If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out the application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilbur ~ ADOPTED!, a Brattleboro American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
