Bentley is eager to be your new best friend! He's a handsome 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, with a copper-colored coat and white socks.

Bentley is very loving and full of personality. His favorite things to do are cuddling on the couch or playing in the backyard and he's a calm and quiet dog around the house. He's very smart, knows several tricks, and walks well on leash.

Bentley would prefer a quiet, adult-only home (no children, cats, or small dogs) with a fenced backyard. Living with another calm dog his size could
be a possibility. Bentley can be shy when you first meet him but warms up quickly and he loves to give kisses. He's been at the shelter for over 3 years, so we want to find him a perfect family who can offer lots of love and patience to help him adjust. Bentley is microchipped and
up-to-date on shots. For more information please email

About Bobbi and the Strays

About Our Rescue Group...

Bobbi and the Strays is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt animal welfare organization, and a no-kill agency.

We rescue stray dogs and cats from harmful situations ranging from abuse and neglect to imminent euthanasia. All animals are examined and treated by a veterinarian and updated with vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and will undergo healthcare or rehabilitation as necessary. We then find permanent, loving homes for these animals who may never have known kindness. We also provide educational programs to schools and the community, educating children and adults on responsible pet ownership. We also have Spay-Neuter/Release programs, organizing monthly spay/neuter services around the community with the ASPCA van.

We have dedicated volunteers who help rescue, foster, and care for the animals, as well as helping out at adoption days.

Donations are always needed to continue our work, and we rely on the support of those who share our vision of a world where animals are treated humanely, given loving homes, and where organizations such as ours are a thing of the past. We believe in our dream.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all potential adopters to complete an adoption form. We will make arrangements to meet with you, inspect the home where the animal will live, and, once approved, you'll be able to take home your new family member. Fees will be discussed with potential adopters.

We also require that adopters keep us updated on the well being of their pets and, if for any reason they are no longer able to keep the animal, they MUST call us to return the animal to us. We will pick up if necessary.
