Woods's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Woods's Story...
Woods is a very busy and snuggly puppy. He is full of love towards humans and we are working on socializing with other dogs. Woods currently attends daycare 4 days a week and is doing great! He can be wild and crazy yet just lay on your lap snuggling and giving LOTS of kisses, too. He loves playing with squeaky toys and tossing his rope toy in the air and catching it. Woods is kennel trained and working on potty training. His ideal home would be an active family that can work with him on training so that he can gain confidence. He has a very strong herding instinct that would be perfect for agility training!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Woods, a Wichita Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
