This young adult retriever boy came to us form a high kill shelter after being picked up as a stray.
Tripp is approximately 2-3 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. He has an old injury on his left front ankle that causes him to walk with a limp. x-rays show a fractured bone near the ankle joint that causes his foot to hyperextend...it looks like he is wearing a big , floppy clown shoe. It does not seem to stop him.. he will chase a tennis ball as many times as you will throw it for him. He can also climb a chain link fence so he will either need to be taken out on leash or will require a privacy type fence. He is very sweet and good natured. Loves all people that he meets....does fine with dogs, hates cats. With a little bit of training this baby could be a great companion for a very lucky family. Video available upon request.
