Ranger in Dallas's Story...
Ranger is a beautiful JRT. He is 2 years old and I've come to the realization he needs a better home with someone who can be home more. He is mainly house trained and will be easy to manage as soon as he is neutered which I'm working on. He's current on all his shots. He is leash trained and harness trained. This sweet boy is obviously very smart and knows plenty of tricks as well. We even go to the obstacle course when I have the time on weekends and he's quickly catching on to that too.
He is an absolutely wonderful dog.
Please fill out the online application on www.russellrescue.com if you are interested. Adoption fee is 200 dollars. No cats. No kids. No male dogs. Adopter must become able to drive to the Dallas area. Home visit and vet check mandatory. Contact jolleyjames@sbcglobal.net. Please visit us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/TexasRussellRescueInc

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger in Dallas, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
