A volunteer writes: `Just me and my shadow....strolling down the avenue....` That was my serenade to this schmushy Velcro dog named Franklyn. Shy and sweet he was afraid of the elevator (a box that moved!!) needing some coaxing and reassurance that I''d keep him safe. It was pouring outside so he let me put a raincoat on him but once he stuck his nose out and saw the rain said, ''no siree lady, I''m not going out in that!''. So, we head into a small space where he can be off leash, where we can cuddle to both our hearts content and I can try to take some photos. Try taking a photo when each time you step back he steps forward! Franklyn is a total lover boy, the happiest he can be when snuggling with his person. He''s tiny, a bit too thin and a gem. He was given a bath by our groomer volunteer, Mark the Dog Guy, and I''m told he was a perfect gentleman in the tub. I wish I could have spent the day snuggling with Franklyn. I can''t, but you, lucky adopter, can spend your happily ever after cuddling with this boy. His world will revolve around loving you and I can''t imagine anything sweeter than that, can you?
