Cora's Story...
Meet Cora!! This beautiful 5 year old girl was found abandoned when her owner moved and left her behind, she was rescued by the Kat Colony. Cora has been a Tabby Town resident since September and we can't seem to figure out why! She is one of the sweetest, most gentle cats around. She absolutely loves to be petted and is super affectionate. Cora is a Tabby Town crew favorite! She can be a tad bit shy at times, she doesn't seem to like fast movements or loud noises. She also prefers to hang out in her condo, but she does enjoy walking around the adoption floor greeting everyone. She doesn't seem to mind other cats either. A quiet home with no small children or dogs would be ideal for her. If you're looking for an awesome companion, Cora is definitely your girl

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cora, a Blasdell Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Blasdell, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Blasdell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blasdell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blasdell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blasdell paves the way for another one to be saved.
