Jethro's Story...
My name is Jethro. I'm a male, black German Shepherd mix (possibly with Lab), and I currently weigh 70 lbs. I arrived at the shelter on 9/25/16 as a stray from Castro Valley, and have been available for adoption since 9/30/16. I have been vaccinated and dewormed, and will be neutered and microchipped before going to my new home. I'm a young, active, strong boy who would do well in a home that will provide regular exercise, and continued basic training. I'm located in kennel A-4.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jethro, a Dublin German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Dublin, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Dublin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dublin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dublin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dublin paves the way for another one to be saved.
