My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is a very sweet, affectionate, well behaved lab mix.
He, along with his sister, was rescued from a high kill Texas shelter, and had a rough life of abuse and neglect. He had eye and ear infections, hair loss, covered in ticks and fleas, would flinch at sudden movements made towards him, and just really needed a little love and care. He is fine with older children, completely house broken and non destructive. He is a big dog and is not to be crated. He will only go to an indoor home, and one with a privacy fenced back yard. He falls apart in loud thunderstorms as well as fireworks, and needs reassurance that all is well. During these occurrences, a radio turned up loud as well as a fan set on high,to help alleviate his fear. He is incredibly sweet and devoted, low energy, and a perfect companion. He must be the only pet in the home now and in the future. No exceptions to this.. Looking for his perfect forever family that will be patient and kind to him. He really is a very sweet boy.
