Sasha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sasha's Story...
Sasha was an owner surrender. She is a red long hair dachshund that weighs 13.2#s. Sasha’s owner could not give her the attention she needed due to her work schedule, and Sasha suffered separation anxiety when she was left alone. (She would chew up toys, carpet etc. due to her frustration.) She loves attention, children and most other dogs. She will do good in a home where someone is there to be with here. She loves to cuddle up on the couch while you watch TV or read. She is also crate trained but enjoys sleeping in the big bed with you. If you would like to give Sasha a new FUR-ever home, then please fill out the adoption form on our website (www.lvhddcr.com). As a home visit is part of the adoption process, we can only adopt out in the greater Las Vegas area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Las Vegas Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
