Harley & Turbo*Adopted's Story...

Adoption Donation: $400.00 for both

DOUBLE THE LOVE!  Turbo & Harley are youngsters who are looking for a forever home together. They are a 'bonded pair' and won't be separated.....but, hey, who could choose between them anyway?

Harley is 2 years old, a purebred Maltese and weighs about 11lbs.  Turbo is 3 years old and weighs close to 25 lbs. but has been (and needs to continue) losing weight.  He's a bigger boy since he's a mix with Maltese and Lhasa Apso. They are both very sweet and love to snuggle with their people.  They are doing great on their house training as long as they get outside on a regular basis.

Because they are young and because Turbo needs to get his figure back, they should get lots of exercise.   A home with older kids around 10-12 would be great to play with him. They love to run and chase each other in the yard and both are very well-behaved when walked on a leash' however, Harley does not like cats at all.

They are currently being fostered in Little River, SC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley & Turbo*Adopted, a Walterboro Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Lhasa Apso for sale in Walterboro, or seeking a Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Walterboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walterboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walterboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Maltese/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walterboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
