Connie is a 2 year old Lab/Pit mix weighing 60 pounds. She’ll thrive with a family that wants to continue obedience training throughout her life. She has a great foundation and knows all her basic commands. A little structure in her life will go far. Maybe even some agility or learning tricks! She’s a smart lady and a people pleaser that is highly food motivated. She is dog selective and seems to prefer male dogs. She likes to be top dog in the home, but she does know humans are in charge. Her meeting style can be overzealous when she’s excited. She has a bit of the protector instinct but is easily redirected. Connie loves playing with children and being a goofball. She goes down the slide with them or sits at the table in a chair like a human. When she gets too worked up with excitement she’s been nippy so older children are best and that’ll be a behavior to work on. Overall, Connie has a relaxed and loving demeanor. She’ll snuggle up on the couch with you or lay at your feet. When she’s excited to see her humans she comes down with a case of the wiggle butt and gives sweet, gentle kisses. Connie is house and crate trained. She will require a fenced yard and adopters must own their home. Her adoption fee is $150. Visit Mustlovedogsnw.org to download the adoption application.
Since 2008, Must Love Dogs NW has been deeply committed to ending pet homelessness in our community. We strive to educate the public on responsible dog ownership, behavior modification, and training assistance. We work to rehome dogs that are abused, neglected, homeless or about to be homeless and those in shelter settings. We provide spay/neuter and microchip assistance to animals in need. Through our volunteer foster network we are able to provide a loving home environment where we can get to know our dogs well and fully assess their needs. Must Love Dogs NW is a not-for-profit organization that relies 100% on the generosity of the community. Help us make a difference today.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process aims to match adoptable dogs with the best possible home to meet both the needs of the dog and the adopter. Therefore, we are not a first-come-first-serve rescue. All of our foster dogs are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary, based on the age, breed and temperament of the pet.
