Hello there! My name is Sully, and I am a big, beautiful, bouncing, boy bichon who is 9 years old. I weigh around 30 pounds, but that doesn’t mean I’m fat!! My foster mom prefers to say I’m solid! My hair is white like the snow and soft and fluffy. She also says I am one of the most stunningly beautiful bichons she has ever seen. I wish you could see me playing, and I can run & jump with the best of ‘em!!
For unknown reasons, my owner surrendered me to a shelter. That kinda bummed me out for a bit, but Small Paws came along and gave me a second chance at a happy life. My foster mom can’t believe anyone would ever surrender me because I am such a sweet, easy-going, low maintenance, all around good boy. When we are hanging out around the house, I like to lay in my bed, or on a pillow on the couch, and sometimes in my foster mom’s lap. I also really like belly rubs when we are sitting. I will roll over onto my back and look up at you with my big loving eyes and ask you to rub my soft round belly. I don’t think I could ever get tired of belly rubs!! When my foster mom goes to work, she leaves me and my foster brother free to roam the house and I’m such a good boy I don’t destroy anything, not even the Christmas tree or presents!! I sleep in the bed with them at night, too….FYI: I’m a total snuggle nugget.
I enjoy running around the house playing with my foster brother, and I have been well-behaved meeting and playing new puppy friends. I walk well on a leash… I love to go for walks! I hang in there just fine on brisk 3 miles walks with my foster mom & brother. My foster mom thinks I would be GREAT with doggie siblings. I think as long as you love and play with me I’ll be ok!! Did I mention I LOVE to play fetch??!!
Although I haven’t ‘officially’ been observed with children for long periods of time, I have played well with kids around the neighborhood. I like to run, jump, and chase them.
One thing you should know about me is that I like to talk. If we are out on a walk and I see someone or another dog, I will bark and pull because I am soooooo excited to meet new friends. But there’s no need to be!! I’m a very sweet boy and all I want is for them to see me, pet me, love on me, and play with me. I will run up & jump up on their leg & find their hand with my head so they will pet me.
I am up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative. If you are looking for a jolly, happy-go-lucky companion who will make you smile every day, please consider adopting me! Sully needs another dog in the home or someone home most of the time. Children should be at least 10 years old. He’s being fostered in IL
