If you're looking for a sweet hound girl who loves everyone, look no further! I'm cute, cuddly, and here to please you. I'm about three years old and weigh about 50 pounds. I'd love to meet you and show you just how great I am. Give my hound ears a good scratch, and I'll be yours forever!

I'm still working on some of my house manners, but I've got the basics down: I'm crate and potty trained. Plus, I do a great 'Sit!' I'm still getting used to going on walks, but have adjusted really well to walking on a harness.

I live with a three-year-old human and I love him! Although I'm very excitable, I could not be more gentle with the toddler in my house. I seem to understand that he is little, so I am very careful not to knock him down. My favorite thing to do is cozy up right next to him as he naps. It's like I literally melt right in to him. In just the few weeks I have spent in my foster home, I have already grown in to a very loyal dog. I come quickly when I am called and like to stay as close to my humans as possible.

I also have two doggie foster brothers who I love! I eat and take treats right next to them without any issues. Plus, I don't get mad if they steal my toys. I understand that I'll get it back soon. However, I would do best in a house without cats. My hound instincts tend to kick in around those little guys.

I am very food motivated, making me easily trainable. I'll do anything for that treat in your hand! Still, I take treats very gently. I'm just that sort of sweet girl.

Did I mention how much I love when you pet my ears? My foster mom says I always groan happily whenever she rubs my ears. There's no better way to end every evening!

Adoption Fee: $400

We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433

***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians.

Our Weight Classes are as follows:
0- 25lbs - Small
26- 45lbs - Medium
46-89 - Large
90+ X-large

If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following:

Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped.

If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee.

Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home.

If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home.

If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all.

Please go to
WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.

Our Adoption Process...

To begin our adoption process, please visit - there you can read more about our policies, our adoption area and fill out an online application. The applications are good for 60 days.

After being approved, you will receive an email and if the dog you are interested in is available, the foster for the dog will be in contact to set up a meet and greet to determine if this is the correct dog for your family/lifestyle. If so, you could begin our mandatory 5 day foster to adopt trial period, and if you decided to adopt, we would set up your home visit.
