Sadie Jane, likely a pure bred black labrador retriever was found in a very rural wooded area, nursing her litter of 7 puppies in a ditch. Some of the nearby neighbors had seen her around and assumed she belonged to someone. When she was discovered with the puppies, a search ensued to find her family. Making note of the indention around her neck, it is believed she was once wearing a collar. Sadly, it is common that dogs getting pregnant belonging to owners who neglected to have them fixed end up being dumped (so the owners dont have to deal with the puppies). Sadie Jane has great manners, knows some commands, obviously was someones family pet. She is crate trained and loves being inside the house with people. Her mothering skills are amazing. She is a young, well-mannered, loving family pet.
