Misty is a healthy, 12-year-old Welsh Corgi who loves attention from everyone, including children.  She is tolerant of other dogs, even active puppies.  She is a calm, laid-back dog who is very content, especially if she can be in the same room with her people.  She seldom barks, is very responsive when her name is called, and she is able to go up and down a few stairs.  She moves slowly — except when she hears the word “treat.”  She is always very grateful for any attention that she gets.  She will be a great companion for someone who prefers an easy dog that is already housebroken.

Misty qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors discount if her adopter is at least age 65.

The suggested donation amount for Misty is $150, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue.  To fill out an application, please visit the following web address:!adopt-a-pet/c7cy The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. About Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a not for profit organization formed in 2014 by a small group of devoted animal lovers, in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area, with many years of rescue experience wanting to make a difference in the lives of dogs. Our rescue focuses on small breed dogs, less than 35 pounds, of any age. It is all volunteer based, and all of our rescue dogs are living in the homes of our volunteers.
Our rescue is unique in that we offer supportive services, such as education and training, to owners considering relinquishing their pet in an effort to try to keep the dog in their home whenever possible. We also educate and offer placement assistance to owners attempting to rehome their pets through social media sites, which can often be risky for the pets as well as the owners.
