Dutchess's Story...
My name is Dutchess and I'm a very beautiful Abyssinian girl! I am about 2.5 years old. My mom had an accident and now can't give me all the attention she used to. She feels I deserve more than she can offer me these days. I'm not so sure about that, but anyways, guess I gotta find a new family. So some things about me are that I love kisses and belly rubs. I am extremely loving and love being around people. I think "head butting" is cool. I love to play and chase bugs and moths when they come in the house. I really love sleeping under the covers with my mom. My favorite toy is called the cat dancer and I play with it for hours. I'm fine around dogs and kids. I'm front declawed and spayed. I'm sure if you met me, you would really like me. My mom says I'm truly a special girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Bay City Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Bay City, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Bay City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bay City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bay City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bay City paves the way for another one to be saved.
