Hi friends, this is Artemis, aka Artie! He’s a little guy with a big heart, the sweetest smile and adorable floppy ears.
Artie is approximately two years old and is the definition of a snuggle-bug. He is very affectionate and could snooze practically anywhere, so long as it’s near (or on) you! In your lap, on your chest, tucked into your armpit – he doesn’t care, he just wants to curl up into a tiny ball and be loved. At night, he sleeps on his foster mom’s pillow above her head and doesn’t move. Have we mentioned he likes to SNUGGLE?!
In addition to being a loveable pooch, Artie is exceptionally smart. He is crate trained, house trained, comes to you when called, gets along well and plays with big and small dogs, and likes kids! He hasn’t been around cats yet, so we’re not sure how he’d react to them, so he’d have to be properly introduced first to make sure they would be best buds.
Artie is a mellow, laid-back dude who would make an excellent Netflix binge-watching buddy or a stay-at-home movie date. His ideal home will love him always, spend lots of quality time with him cuddling with him, and going for walks.
Ready to show Artie what a forever home feels like? Apply to adopt him today!
Artemis is available for pre-adopt only at this time, as he is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated.
