Commander's Story...
Welcome Commander. This is a 55 pound Boxer mix with a bobbed tail. He is about 2 years old and he does the full body U-shaped wiggle that you affectionately know as a Boxer quality. Boxers are the Peter Pan dog. Commander is an unusual color for a Boxer mix but he has many characteristics which lead us to believe he is one. He is good on the leash until he sees something interesting. He is playful and fun and would love a runner or outdoorsy family to tag along with. He is good with other dogs and all people we have seen him with, even strangers. He is looking for his forever home outside of Texas. We will be using a transporter to deliver him to his new forever home. He is currently in a rural facility that is not no kill with very little foot traffic so dogs even as good as he is will not be seen without the adoption sites. He can leave on the next transport to your area when he is adopted. Contact me for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Commander, a Lacey Boxer/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Boxer for sale in Lacey, or seeking a Boxer/Boxer dog from a breeder in Lacey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lacey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lacey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Boxer breeders who help with Boxer/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lacey paves the way for another one to be saved.
