FIONA - ID#A339770

Fiona is a beautiful girl who is just over 2 years old. She loves to play, loves attention & affection and most of all, loves each & every person she meets. Fiona was surrendered to our shelter as she did not get along with another dog in the home so we feel her ideal home would be one without other dogs. The benefits of working with her would be so worth it as Fiona is a wonderful girl who has a way of uplifting spirits of those around her ~ she is like sunshine on a cloudy day! Fiona would need to live in a home with (respectful) children aged 15 and older. We are not sure about her interactions with cats.

I am a spayed female, black and white pit bull terrier mix.

I am estimated to be about 2 years and 2 months old.

I have been at the shelter since 07/15/2016.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
