Molly's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Molly's Story...
Molly is a beautiful Border Collie / Great Pyrenees mix with the most soulful gorgeous brown eyes! Molly was adopted to a family last year and recently returned. Molly's family says she is super affectionate and easy going but they weren't able to fence their back yard and having to meet dogs on leash became a frustration to her. Molly is good with cats but she would prefer to be an only dog. She will need some gentle dog introductions if you plan on leash walking, although she has gone on walks with a male dog and has done fine. She is at a boarding kennel now and is friendly when meeting other dogs, not even so much as a growl. All in all, she's an awesome dog who loves her people. She is a quiet dog and loves to sit outside in her back yard, much like the Pyrenees. Inside she wants to hang out with her people. She has such a big heart and is hoping to find her forever home soon! Please apply at saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp and come meet this wonderful dog! Private appointments at her Northboro location are preferred.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Sudbury Great Pyrenees/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Border Collie breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
