Prancer's Story...
Meet our SG foster, Prancer! This handsome boxer mixed boy is about five years old and as sweet as they come! His former owners dropped him off for boarding LAST November and never picked him back up 🙁 How somebody could dump a dog as sweet and well mannered as Prancer blows or mind! Thankfully the boarding facility didn’t euthanize him; they loved him and he was a daily member of their doggy daycare. Prancer is now our foster boy and his cute nubby tail hasn’t stopped wagging from the moment he walked through the door. We are looking for a furever home that couldn’t imagine dumping him! He’s great with other animals, people, and potty trained. He is really an all around great dog. Prancer gets so excited when he sees his people that he prances all around the room and folds practically in half trying to chase his nub! He also loves toys of any kind; as long as you will throw a toy, Prancer will fetch it! Once you are both worn out he is ready to snuggle with you! We can't say it enough, that he is just an all around good and well rounded pup!

Prancer’s adoption fee is $175 and he is fully vetted. This gorgeous boy will make an awesome edition to any family. If you’re interested in Prancer, please contact me at 314-435-3128.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prancer, a St. Louis Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
