Ramona's Story...
Name: Ramona
Breed: German Shepherd mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Ramona is a middle aged female German Shepherd mix with a soft heart, a gentle soul, and a true love of her people. She is loyal beyond all else. Ramona is polite, well-mannered, housetrained, crates well, and used to being in the house. Someone loved and trained her so how she ended up at the shelter is a mystery. She does well with other dogs though her first love is always people and she'd love most of all to be your only canine. She is fine with cats and used to visiting kids and loves them. She's a medium energy dog meaning she is happy to pep up for a walk or playtime but is equally content to relax on the couch. Ramona greets everyone like an instant friend without ever being rude and has a wisdom and sense to her that comes with maturity. She is a hidden treasure.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ramona, a Minneapolis German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
