NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY:
Pinky became a Canine Castaway in December of 2008 when she was pulled from Animal Services as a puppy with demodex. She was adopted by a first time foster family shortly thereafter and we thought she had her happily ever after. Imagine our surprise when Animal Services called us last week to tell us that after 8 years Pinky had been owner surrendered back to their facility. Pinky was very lucky that phone call was made because as a senior she wouldn't have had a bright future at Animal Services. Canine Castaways is always here for our dogs so we got her out right away. Now as a senior, Pinky is again looking for a foster home while she waits for a new family.
