Facts about JoJo

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
JoJo was an owner surrender and lived outside all her life as an only pet; NOW she is living inside and experiencing the joy and love of family companionship from her foster family. JODI has a RENEWED SPIRIT, ZEST and STAMINA for life, due to help from her foster, vet care, and water therapy sessions. Don't tell JoJo she is 10 because she certainly has the spirit of a much younger girl :-) She is spayed and a trim 73lbs, current on vaccines, hw negative, flea free, and house trained. Milk Thistle & SamE are supplements JoJo takes daily to help maintain her health; her pain medication (about $20/month) helps with her arthritis .... she does and can walk 1/2 mile daily. Her temperament is your typical lab....... she wants to be beside you and a part of every party; she gets along great with children and adults (and is particular fond of her foster dad). JoJo will talk in her excitement especially when it comes to car rides and feeding time. She loves her soccer ball, loves to wrestle and play, enjoys her rope toys (which she will happily shred), being brushed, ears rubbed, cheese, stealing blankets, and taking dryer sheets out of laundry trash can (again, happy to shred). She is not a swimmer, but does love getting in the kiddie pool if the opportunity arises. Due to her curiosity to explore, confidence, and strong prey drive for small animals (cats, rabbits, squirrels, small dogs) a fenced yard is a definite requirement. JoJo goes to daycamp 1 -2 week and does well with most dogs and cats WHEN given the proper introductions. We recommend Jodi be the only female (or dominant girl) in her family.

About Dream4Pets

About Our Rescue Group...

DREAM is a network (no facility) of VOLUNTEERS with efforts focused on Rescue, Rehabilitation and RE-homing of companion dogs that are neglected, abandoned and sometimes living in county shelters. Our goals: offer resources to REDUCE the overpopulation of cats and dogs - thus reducing euthanizing, PROVIDE educational resources to assist with "responsible pet ownership" and RAISE FUNDS to help with necessary vetting for the pets we rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.

Our adoptions are never finalized until we are 100% assured there is a perfect match for both the applicant and the dog being adopted. Sending us the adoption application is the first step. You will find the application online (on the Adopt Me page at A home visit and reference checks are also made prior to any adoption. Our adoption process typically takes 2 - 4 weeks after the application has been received..
