Facts about Simba

  • Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Simba is officially up for adoption!! She is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed. She LOVES to play with her ball and be around her person. Simba is doing well in her current foster home, although she would LOVE to be the princess of the house. She is SUPER sweet with all humans, but it does take her time to warm up to the other dogs in the home. Because her current foster home has two other dogs and a cat, she doesn't get as much attention as she would like. We continue to look for a forever home for this love bug. Simba improves every day in her foster home. It is still suggested she not be around small animals or children, but only because she is large and may knock them over. She does not show any signs of aggression and is extremely well behaved. She does have plenty of energy, so someone who could play fetch, take her running or hiking, or teach her some agility may all be great. She has learned how to walk on a treadmill and that works wonders for burning her energy!

Simba is up for adoption and her adoption fee is $125.

About Paw Patrol

About Our Rescue Group...

Paw Patrol is a dedicated group of volunteers working to improve the quality of life for dogs living in our community.

Our Mission is:
To improve the lives of dogs living in Dayton, Ohio and the surrounding municipalities (with special emphasis on helping outdoor dogs).
To provide shelter in the form of an adequate doghouse to outdoor dogs in an effort to keep them warm and dry.
To promote the importance of spaying/neutering dogs and to offer this service at a free or subsidized cost to dog owners.
To provide information to the public about the negative aspects of dog tethering.
To assist owners with necessary resources to allow them to keep their dog happy, healthy, and out of the already over-crowded shelter system.
To provide outdoor dogs with either a trolley run or a fence built by volunteers in order to improve their quality of life and remove any form of tethering.

Our Adoption Process...

Our Adoption Fees cover spay/neuter for our dogs, vaccinations, heart worm testing/medication, microchipping and any vet care the dog is needing. Once you fill out an application on our adoptables tab on our website, http://pawpatroldayton.com/rescues/, a representative will conduct a reference check with your vet provided. A call to the potential adopter will be made when the representative is done verifying the information on the contract.
