I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Marilyn was found as a stray running in Carlisle. When nobody claimed her she was lucky that ALI had room for her! However, when they did her initial exam they felt her tummy and thought she was pregnant! Via ultrasound they found out that she was pregnant!!
On 8/13/16 she gave birth to 12 beautiful puppies! The puppies have since been weaned from Marilyn as they are almost 8 weeks old as of 10/04/16.
Animal Lifeline of Iowa, Inc is a special needs, no-kill animal shelter that accepts unowned dogs/puppies and cats/kittens that are disabled, injured, neglected, pregnant, nursing and orphans requiring bottle feeding. Along with veterinary care, our army of caring volunteers nurse the animal back to health and when healthy we place the animal up for adoption. Our founding belief is that every animal deserves a loving home and should not be killed simply because they have been at the shelter too long. We are a 501 (c)3 charitable organization and rely solely on donations. We receive no government funding.
