Clyde's Info...

Clyde's Story...
Clyde was found running with Bonnie out in the area of Brown Road in Shelby County. He was more than happy to see an individual, especially when he discovered that they had treats. Clyde is still a fairly young canine and loves to have the opportunity to go out on walks. He didn't do real bad with getting a bath either, which was good since he discovered a skunk prior to coming to the animal shelter. If unclaimed by his owner, he will be looking for a new forever home on the 30th of September. The Shelby County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-1.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clyde, a Sidney Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
