Bonnie's Info...

Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie was found running with Clyde out in the area of Brown Road. Unlike Clyde, Bonnie wasn't too impressed with treats and took a little bit longer to catch. She wanted to make sure that she could trust the individual first. However, now that she is at the shelter, she is doing a lot better and is friendly. She enjoyed having the opportunity to go on a walk with a volunteer and get some fresh air. She is currently looking for her owner. If an owner does not come forward, she will be looking for a forever home on the First of October. The Shelby County Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9-5 and Saturday from 9-1.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Sidney Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
