Pete and Clyde's Story...
Clyde and his brother Pete are soft and sweet 1 1/2 year old Lion-head rabbits looking for a new home to call their own. They were brought to the shelter when their previous owners sadly became allergic to them. They have grown up together and will need to be adopted together. Clyde and Pete are friendly and easy to handle, but will need daily socialization to remain that way! They enjoy having their daily helping of Timothy Hay and veggies and fruits, especially carrots and bell peppers! Both boys have been neutered and are ready to go home with you today. Come and meet them at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook! We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete and Clyde, a Benbrook Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
