My name is Caterpie. I am working with my foster family to get use to noises and sudden movements. I am making great progress. When you hold me I turn to mush. I love to be petted and have my belly rubbed. You can also play with my feet and toes. I LOVE to play with toys. I carry them around with me everywhere. My foster mom finds them in my food bowl and I like to take them to my foster family's dog. I have no fear of any animals. I love them all and just want to play. In fact, I need to be adopted into a family with at least another cat or dog as other animals help me so much to gain confidence and trust in new places. Plus, I would make a great playmate for your existing pet.

I am part of the “Pokemon Dozen” all rescued from a rural shelter in one day. I shared my kennel at the shelter with Pidgey, although we clearly are not related. You can imagine how thrilled we both were to have a chance to be out of a cage and finally live a normal life in a home.

About Humane Tomorrow

About Our Rescue Group...

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter but you can learn more about us by visiting "Humane Tomorrow."

We have Adopt A Pets on the second and forth Saturday each month at

Petsmart in Flower Mound.

Address;

6060 Long Prairie Road (Hwy. 2499)

Flower Mound, Texas 75028

We also have AdoptAPurrs (cats only) at Petsmart each Sunday AFTER an Adopt A Pet.

Going North on Hwy.2499, the Petsmart will be on the right,
just before Justin Road (FM407)

You can see all our animals there or, if you find an animal you just can't wait to see, call or E-mail for an appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$120 for kittens & cats
$140 for declawed cats
$100 for senior cats (10 yrs +)

Dogs:
$200 for puppies and dogs
$175 for senior dogs (senior depends on breed and size)
Note that some dogs may have higher adoption fees if they are very adoptable or "designer" breeds

This adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
