I am super special; at least that’s what my foster mom says. You see not only am I beautiful, but I am what they call a Polydactyl—I have an extra toe on my front feet kinda like a thumb. No wonder I am so good at catching toys! Life did not start out easy for me. I found myself pregnant as a youngster and then was dumped in a rural shelter along with my newborn babies. It was really scary there trying to raise my kittens. I arrived at my foster home skinny, tired and withdrawn, but in time I relaxed and now that my babies are weaned, I am able to discover by true super sweet personality. People are awesome! I want to be around them all the time, even if I just sit in the room with them. They take time to show me how to play with these things called toys—I really never knew what they were until now. I especially like to chase wand toys and cat nipped filled balls. I love to purr when I am scratched under my chin and will even roll over so my tummy can be scratched. Coffee time is my favorite time of day. I can lay right next to my foster mom and she pets me while she reads a book. While I do like the quiet time, I am discovering I have a whole bunch of kitten in me. I just need to find the right person to help bring it out!

About Humane Tomorrow

About Our Rescue Group...

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter but you can learn more about us by visiting "Humane Tomorrow."

We have Adopt A Pets on the second and forth Saturday each month at

Petsmart in Flower Mound.

6060 Long Prairie Road (Hwy. 2499)

Flower Mound, Texas 75028

We also have AdoptAPurrs (cats only) at Petsmart each Sunday AFTER an Adopt A Pet.

Going North on Hwy.2499, the Petsmart will be on the right,
just before Justin Road (FM407)

You can see all our animals there or, if you find an animal you just can't wait to see, call or E-mail for an appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
$120 for kittens & cats
$140 for declawed cats
$100 for senior cats (10 yrs +)

$200 for puppies and dogs
$175 for senior dogs (senior depends on breed and size)
Note that some dogs may have higher adoption fees if they are very adoptable or "designer" breeds

This adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
