Flower's Story...
My name is Flower and I have 5 brothers and sisters. Along with my mom Bambi, we were dumped at the March Lane Target in Stockton in a crate with no door. My mom got scared and ran away. A nice couple took us home and gave us baths and fed us, but we really missed our momma. She ran across a busy street and got grazed by a car and picked up by some UOP students. The next day they contacted a rescue group who took her in. They posted momma on FB and that she was missing her babies, and the couple that saved us contacted her. We were reunited that next night!!!! we are about 6 weeks old and are starting to eat real puppy food. Momma is going to get adopted as soon as we stop nursing. We are all between 1.5 and 2lbs and love to run around, but we fall over a lot! It's fun. We also play with toys and each other. I have a really adorable heart on my side We'd really like to find our forever homes...with YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flower, a Lodi Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
