Pidgey the Cuddler is an adorable black and white bundle of cuteness who views a human lap as the key to all of life’s happiness. You make a lap and this cat will be in it purring with contentment and “making biscuits”. Pidgey will even nudge at your hand to remind you to keep up with the petting. He will be your family’s best pet ever if you just hold and pet him and give him some daily play time. Pidgey is a low maintenance kitty simply wanting a family of his own to give him lots of attention and affection for the rest of his life. And he will even reciprocate your love with some kisses! He does love other cats always having a foster buddy with him for company. Pidgey is part of the “Pokemon Dozen” all rescued from a rural shelter in one day. He shared his kennel at the shelter with Caterpie, although they clearly are not related. And he is in a foster home now with Abra and his brothers. You can imagine how thrilled Pidgey is to finally have a chance to be out of a cage and live a normal life in a home. Like all the Pokemon Dozen, he is simply one of the the best cats you will ever meet.

About Humane Tomorrow

About Our Rescue Group...

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter but you can learn more about us by visiting "Humane Tomorrow."

We have Adopt A Pets on the second and forth Saturday each month at

Petsmart in Flower Mound.

6060 Long Prairie Road (Hwy. 2499)

Flower Mound, Texas 75028

We also have AdoptAPurrs (cats only) at Petsmart each Sunday AFTER an Adopt A Pet.

Going North on Hwy.2499, the Petsmart will be on the right,
just before Justin Road (FM407)

You can see all our animals there or, if you find an animal you just can't wait to see, call or E-mail for an appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
$120 for kittens & cats
$140 for declawed cats
$100 for senior cats (10 yrs +)

$200 for puppies and dogs
$175 for senior dogs (senior depends on breed and size)
Note that some dogs may have higher adoption fees if they are very adoptable or "designer" breeds

This adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
