I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Oscar is a 4yr old, neutered male Rottweiler Husky mix. He is a happy dog, who is friendly to everyone he meet!. He enjoys playing ball, and has learned to walk pretty well on a leash. Oscar has very quickly become a volunteer favorite with our dog walkers! Oscar enjoys walks in the woods, and is always ready for his next adventure! If you would like to meet Oscar, or have any questions, please send an email to Russell Ashton, at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.
We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public: •We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are. •We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them. •We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way. •We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Please help us help the animals!
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. Thus, our dogs are in foster homes, so if you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!
Our Adoption Process...
An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. Also, there is a $175 adoptiong fee/ donation to help offset some of the expenses relating to vaccinations, spay / neuter, feeding, boarding and miscellanious veterinary costs. Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!

You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
