Colin's Story...
Meet Colin! Colin is a very handsome 2 year old English Setter with a super sweet personality and a gorgeous coat! Colin weighs 41 lbs, gets along great with other dogs here at the facility, and just seems to want to be around people all the time! Unfortunately Colin is not much of a hunter, but that's ok because he is ready to retire, and be a family man now! This guy is heartworm negative and healthy as can be! Colin would fit into a family of any shape, size, or activity level! If you're looking to add to your growing family, Collin might be the guy for you!

Adoption fee is $175 and includes vet exam, vaccinations, microchip, monthly prevention, heartworm check, and neuter!
Contact Molly's Mutts an mollysmuttsanimalrescue@yahoo.com to request an adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colin, a Dixon English Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Setter for sale in Dixon, or seeking a English Setter dog from a breeder in Dixon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dixon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dixon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Setter breeders who help with English Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dixon paves the way for another one to be saved.
