This is Sammy! He is a 6 month old Terrier mix. He is about 20 pounds and could be 25 pounds when he is full grown. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He is house trained and is crate trained. He loves to run and play and is full of energy. He is good with people, children and other dogs. He will need daily play time to use up his energy. Sammy is a barker and would not be a good fit for an apartment. He came to us from a shelter. Like all young dogs, he would benefit from attending an obedience class to help him continue to learn basic commands, establish house rules and for general good socialization skills. He is looking for his forever home and will make someone a great new family member. His adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form.
