My story

ANGEL'S STORY:

Angel's story is one which is resembles the fairytale where an ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan. It was not too long ago when she was a mange-riddled and starving young dog wandering in a place called Taman Desa which was in the suburbs of Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur. Thin and weak, she wandered from house to house begging for food when a young lady associated with rescue group Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better spotted her. She immediately contacted MDDB and arrangements were made to admit Angel to a veterinary hospital. It was past midnight when Angel was taken to the veterinary clinic where she was put on drips for dehydration. The following day, she was given a thorough check-up and the vet said, to her rescuer's utter shock, that Angel was just over six months old! Soon she began to bloom with good nutrition, daily medicated baths and grooming - and after just two months the ugly duckling emerged as a beautiful and robust dog. Angel is adventurous and loves the outdoors. She is a joy to have around.

ANGEL will be arriving in Chicago in October to find her forever home.
