Emily's Story...
Hi! My name is Emily and I was rescued from the South LA Shelter! I was sooooo sad there! Thankfully, I was rescued from that scary place and now I'm ready for my forever home!

I'm one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet! I will talk to you, beg for pets, and cuddle up with you all the time! I'd love a home where I could be the only kitty so I can get all the attention and love! I'm really easy going, social, and friendly with anyone who walks in the door. I enjoy scratching posts, my comfy beds, and being brushed too!

I am snap tested negative for FIV/FELV, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccines!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emily, a Los Angeles Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
