ABOUT JOANELLE
Personality Type: Private Investigator: curiosity knows no bounds and is always finding the hidden nooks and corners of your home.

Description: Hi there. My name is Joanelle and I have some personality if you want to know the truth. A picture speaks a thousand words. If you want a cat who loves to get into your dresser drawers when you leave them open or on your desk while you are working, then I am the cat for you. I am very playful, but I don't like other cats. I kind of like getting all the attention to myself if truth be told. I will jump on the bed and flip over on you at night if you don't mind. Dogs are cool. I will just put them in their place like I do with the resident dog I am currently living with. So, in summary, if you want a curious, fun and playful cat, then I am the queen for your house.

Joanelle is spayed, FeLV negative and FIV positive, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and is litter box trained.

Adoption fee: $50.00

PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. PAWS pulls at-risk animals from the City of Philadelphia's animal control shelter and adopts them out from several locations: our Old City adoption center (2nd and Arch Streets), our Northeast Adoption Center (1810 Grant Avenue); our Wellness Clinic at 2900 Grays Ferry Avenue; our adoption locations at the South Philly and Cottman Avenue PetSmart stores; and, our network of foster homes.

PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

When you adopt a pet from PAWS you truly save a life!

Please reference this animal's ID NUMBER when inquiring about this pet. Both PAWS Adoption Centers are open Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. PAWS' Wellness Clinic is open Monday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but appointments are required for adoptions.

Adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. No animals may be adopted without being spayed or neutered. Adoption fees are as follows: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $50 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), and $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age). About PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society

About Our Shelter...

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is Philadelphia’s largest no-kill shelter and is working to make it a place in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home. PAWS rescues animals at the city’s animal control shelter that are in the greatest danger of being euthanized and places them either up for adoption or into temporary foster homes. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. Support for PAWS funds lifesaving programs such as adoption and foster care, low-cost vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, and other efforts, all of which reduce and will ultimately eliminate the unnecessary killing of Philadelphia’s homeless animals.
