Sutton's Story...
Sutton is looking for her forever home. She is fully vetted, on heartworm preventative, flea preventative, and microchipped. Sutton is believed to be a malinois mix. She needs a experienced owner who knows the breeds needs. Sutton can never be just a pet. She has the need to keep busy. We are looking for a home that will continue her training and work her mind. She would be amazing as a SAR dog but a home to come too. Sutton is more then your typical dog and she is doing amazingly well in her foster home. She is great with dog, cats, and children. Sutton can be unsure of new surroundings at first but easily overcomes that. She is a very smart and active dog. Please do not apply if you have no experience with the breed and or are looking for just a pet. She will not be happy just being a pet she needs continue training.

Adoption fee:$350

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sutton, a Huntington Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
