Facts about Kennedy

  • Breed: Doberman Pinscher
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Kennedy is a handsome male who just came in from an animal shelter where he was surrendered by his family. They said he was 5 years old but we have a really hard time believing that because his teeth are beautiful and he has a youthful spirit so we think he is probably closer to 3 years old. Either way, Kennedy is a good looking boy who just needs a few more pounds to look ideal. He is reported to be great with kids and semi-housebroken. We introduced him to several other dogs and he was wonderful but we thought he did much better with females. He seems to have a bit of training and a sweet disposition with those he knows but he can be majorly territorial when on leash or behind a fence. He is an amazing dog for the right owner.

About Dobies and Little Paws Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a non-profit, no-kill rescue/sanctuary specializing in dobermans but also rescuing small dogs. Most of our dogs come from animal shelters before they are euthanized and are given a second chance at a new home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are located on a small ranch nestled in the orchards of Fillmore, ca. We are open every saturday from 11:00am-3:00pm for open house adoptions. We can arrange weekday or sunday visits by appointment as well.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you bring the whole family (including the four legged) so we can best match you with the right dog. Once you have found your new companion we will have you fill out a one page adoption agreement. We ask a donation of $200-$250 for a doberman and $150 for a little dog. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, with a collar, ID tag, and de-wormer.
