Look deep...deep into my eyes...you feel the urge to pet me...to give me toys and treats...to take me home and love me forever...did it work?? I hope so! My name is Diesel and I am a 6yr old Husky. I'm a mellow guy that does pretty well with other dogs, big or small, as long as they do not jump on me. I'm really good in my crate, keeping it clean and never making a peep. They staff here tells me that I'm not quite ready for adoption yet and have to hang out here a few more weeks because I have worms in my heart. I guess that isn't so good. So soon I will get treated and will be looking for my forever home. I should be ready in about 5 weeks or so (end of October). It would be great to have a sponsor to help pay for my treatment and a few new toys to keep me happy and busy while I go through this.
If you are interested in adopting him please go to our website at www.partnersforpetsil.org and fill out an online application.
