'Your final stop for your furever friend!'
BREED: Lab Pit mix
Almost 3 years. That's how long I've been waiting for my forever home in the shelter, as I've been there longer than anyone else. My name is Tucker. I am a lab pit mix and about 4 years old. I have been adopted twice and returned because neither family had the time to spend with me. I have a SWEET disposition and am a people pleaser! I get along well with other dogs and I LOVE kids! Sometimes the sweet ladies at the shelter take me home for an overnight visit and I LOVE the bed! I'm crate trained and housebroken. I have attended some very special obedience classes in Tampa, FL, where I was deemed an "A Plus student!" I can heel, sit, shake, lie down, and roll over. I'm looking for a home with a family that can stay home with me often, as I have some anxiety when there are storms. As long as I have my medicine, I'm okay! I will keep looking for my family. I know they are out there somewhere. My shelter ladies keep telling me that, and that they won't give up on me.
We require that ALL current household pets be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and up to date on heartworm prevention. We will require confirmation from your veterinarian. If renting, we must have landlord approval. A fence is not a requirement for ALL of our dogs. Fences are a case-by-case determination.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
