Clarissa's Story...
Clarissa is a true Texas girl and lives on a small ranch with horses and cows. While she is used to her wide open spaces, she is also content on a couch watching a movie. She is a very happy and loving dog that loves to play, swim and run with her foster family of dogs. She also has a never-ending curiosity about her foster cat family, whom she gets along with very well. Clarissa is also great with children (currently living with two 8 year olds) and, of course, adults. She shows her gratitude daily with big waste-hugging bear hugs.
Clarissa would do best with a family that has a stay at home person to hang out with. She is happiest when she can see her humans, cuddling with them, walking with them and just being near them. If you think that you can provide Clarissa with the love, attention and security that she craves and would like to be on the receiving end of her generous bear hugs, please contact SAVE Rescue Coalition. Clarissa’s foster family love her very much and would love to tell you all about her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clarissa, a Seattle Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
