Sherman's Story...
Hi from Texas! My name is Sherman and I am a good looking mix of breeds that make me look special. I'm living in a house with both large and small dogs and I like them all. Except for one pesky one that is always trying to start trouble. But I have learned to just ignore him. I am learning to walk on a leash and am already housetrained. I was kept outside by my first owner, but now I live inside with my foster family. I really like having people to love on me an pet me. I have learned to sleep quietly in my crate and not bother things that are not mine. I help my foster mom look for squirrel but I am much better than her at finding them. I like the water but have not had the chance to go swimming yet, but I really think it would be a blast. If you think you might be missing a good time without me in your life, you need to contact my rescue peeps so that they can tell you more about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a boston Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in boston, or seeking a Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
